Things I Hate: Channel 7

Channel 7, how do I hate you?
Let me count the ways:
- I hate that everytime you get a show you hype it out of all proportion.
- I hate that the show you have hyped changes timeslots.
- Many times.
- I hate that you now have the cricket, and schedule it over the top of a show I would normally watch (after weeks trying to find what timeslot it has been relegated to).
- I hate that you have ‘recap’ episodes, purely to prolong the top rating shows you have.
- I hate that you start shows at 8:40 instead of their scheduled 8:30 purely so you can count the previous show’s ratings as the new shows.
- I hate your ‘news’, and I hate that when a show I want to watch happens to coincide with a bomb blast that hurt nobody, you stop the show I want to watch and cover the non-news event for 3 hours.
I hate you channel seven. I hate you! I hate you! I hate you!*
Anyway, that’s enough vitriol for tonight. I have to see if I can find a channel 7 TV show that I want to watch, but via some method that doesn’t involve inconveniencing me, or playing ads over the top of the show I want to watch…
*note: I also hate channels 9 and 10, but the majority of the few shows I watch are on channel 7 - hence they are the target of my attack tonight.

I hate Channel 7 because Today Tonight is the lowest calibre of trashy current affairs ever to be aired on television.
And I hate that my mother watches it.

Andy: Today Tonight is the program that ultimately turned my vague feelings of dislike into intense hatred. I hate that show so very, very much. Now their news IS today tonight, but with bickering muslims instead of bickering neighbours.
Annelise: We’ll get it off you in a little while. She might want to read the rest of them first as a refresher.

And that is meant to change my feelings AT ALL?
(Actually that’s one of the main reasons I hate them -not because of you- but how they portrayted you, plus using a ‘fat’ lens to make you look huge)

with Dr john - he was ok, they weren’t especially as they edited out the supporting family

I hope that someone, like myself, has time to refer back to earlier comments.
Anyway I would like to bring the everyone’s attention another reason I hate channel 7.
Two words: PRISON BREAK.

5.I hate that you have ‘recap’ episodes, purely to prolong the top rating shows you have. - I guess this means “ENCORE PRESENTATIONS”
They did this with Desperate Housewives last year, I belive the first episode was on no less than 3 times in the first two weeks after it originally screened!
As soon as I saw we were going to be treated to an ENCORE Presentation of PB my blood began to boil and I thought “I hate channel 7″

Hey Dez,
there is an easy solution to channel 7 (and 9 and 10, which aren’t worse - just equally bad).
Stop watching TV.
