But it made me feel really bad... He hangs around the escalator outside Town Hall square and, unlike most of the beggars I've seen, will gladly accept food, and not just money. He seems like a really nice guy who got stuffed around because he can't read - and so he didn't know he needed a doctor's certificate to keep his centrelink payments coming in. He didn't find out till he didn't have any money left. Poor guy. Yeah, he realised I didn’t mean it, and kind of laughed it off. But it made me feel really bad…
