New Toy

Sorry about the lack of updates, after a five-year mission, my laptop expired several weeks ago – it blue-screened, and no amount of CPR would revive it.
My new laptop arrived today, and it feels and looks nicer, runs faster, and cost around a grand less, despite being better in every single department (by an order of magnitude in some respects).

That actually has very little to do with my laziness and procrastination in writing. I have several posts in the works, and hopefully they will actually turn up on the site soon.

A Two-Step Plan For Arriving On Time

Step 1: Set your alarm for when you need to get up.
Not
for ten or twenty minutes earlier or later, but the actual time that you need to get up in order to get where you need to be. Figure out how long it takes you to dress/eat/travel, and subtract that time from the time you are due. Set your alarm for this time.

Step 2: Get up when you alarm goes off.
Yes, right when it goes off. Don’t hit snooze, don’t lie in bed. Just get up and get moving. Then you will get to your destination on time.
